Linda first encountered CEF in the late 1970’s shortly after becoming a follower of Christ and had her first Good News Club in an apartment in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Some 40 years later after retiring from work, she again connected with CEF as a volunteer with GNCs in Mount Juliet and Lascassas. As a committee member, Linda brings a unique perspective from her long and varied life experiences along the way. She has lived in 6 states and 14 different towns or cities. Her children attended Christian school, public school, and homeschool. She has been a microbiologist, a military officer’s wife, a homeschooling mom, an adjunct law professor, an assistant district attorney in 2 states, an assistant attorney general, a nonprofit board member, mother to two wonderful children, and now Mimi to her grandson. Additionally, she has been active in church and various Christian ministries and organizations over the years and loves working with other believers and children to advance the cause of Christ. She currently enjoys running a home business, making scented candles and home décor to feed her creative side.
